For Nike’s New Age of Sport campaign, we revisited two legendary moments from the brand’s advertising history, translating them into a contemporary visual language that bridges nostalgia, humor, and digital craft. The first piece reinterpreted Spike Lee’s “Lil Penny” commercials from 1996 — an iconic blend of attitude and playfulness — through Dexter Maurer’s distinct illustrated world, merging cartoon energy with motion-driven storytelling.
The second artwork revisited the cult “Charles Barkley vs. Godzilla” commercial, reimagined as a surreal “Battle of the Barkleys”, in which two versions of the basketball legend face each other in an epic, self-referential duel.
As producer, I coordinated the creative development, timeline, and deliverables, overseeing collaboration between animation, sound, and production partners to ensure a cohesive and dynamic campaign execution. The project celebrated Nike’s cultural heritage while expanding it into a new generation of digital storytelling.
