MSCHF, the conceptual art collective known for its cultural interventions, launched "BTS In Battle"—an 8-bit video game for the Game Boy Color that satirized the global debate around the mandatory military service for the world-famous Korean boy band BTS. The project speculatively framed this cultural and political flashpoint as a fantastical battle, landing mere weeks before the band officially confirmed their enlistment. The final artwork, a collaborative creation to which illustrator Dexter Maurer contributed, was presented in MSCHF's solo show, NO MORE TEARS, I'M LOVIN' IT, at Perrotin Gallery in 2022.

Acting as the dedicated Producer for illustrator Dexter Maurer, I managed the integration of his artistic contribution into MSCHF's final artwork. My role required meticulous project managementand operational execution to navigate the collective's fast-paced framework, ensuring high-quality assets were delivered on schedule for the game's development.

This involved strategic problem-solving to align the artistic process with the project's conceptual and technical demands. I managed all aspects of the illustration phase, from initial briefing and planning to final asset delivery, facilitating clear communication between the artist and the client to maintain the project's critical satirical edge and ensure its timely release amidst a rapidly evolving real-world news cycle.
